Sensory Technologies, in a co-submission with Ratio Architects, achieved the highest level of recognition for the Simon Property Group World Headquarters at the 2007 Monumental Affair Awards.  The companies received the top Honor Award for both categories in which Simon was submitted: Downtown Development and Interior Design.  As a result of the co-submissions, Simon also won the Monumental Award, the event’s top distinction.

At the ceremony, the announcement of the win included the following excerpt from the co-submission narrative, “The Simon Property Group World Headquarters has made a lasting impression on the Indianapolis skyline.  By creating a meeting place and keeping green space, the project provides an escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of downtown life.  A contemporary structure furnished with the latest in style and technical sophistication, the structure is a world-class facility in a truly monumental city.”

A Monumental Affair is presented by Keep Indianapolis Beautiful to recognize significant achievements in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, engineering, construction, public art, and development.  The event honors and encourages those who have contributed to the quality of life through the enhancement and beautification of Marion County’s visual and physical environment.
